As released in the Bureau of Labor Statistics report last month, Wisconsin’s unemployment rate, seasonally adjusted, rose from 3.0 percent in August to 3.2 percent in September. Not seasonally adjusted, the unemployment rate fell from 3.3 percent in August to 3.2 percent in September.
Locally, according to a Bureau of Labor Statistics report released on November 2, the La Crosse-Onalaska metropolitan area unemployment rate (not seasonally adjusted) held steady at 2.5 percent in September.
